Gaurav Sarup

A Production Engineer by qualification, Gaurav started his career at Marshall Machines (Pvt) Limited, a company established by his father and mentor Mr. Gautam Sarup in 1961. Gaurav’s passion has been designing innovative machine tools and his career has been filled with many milestones including the prestigious FIE Foundation National Awards in 2009, 2013, 2015 and 2017.

Since 2012, Gaurav has been leading a team at Marshall Machines to develop ‘Intelligence’ for CNC machine tools that enables them to produce ZERO defect components and work with near ZERO accidents while reducing dependence on Operators & Inspectors. Marshall products range from hydraulic SPMs to single, double and four spindle CNC Lathes, to the award winning ROBOTURN Automated CNC Lathes and the SmartCorrect™ Gauging Stations.

An early adopter of IoT (Internet of Things) for quality & productivity enhancement of CNC machine tools, Marshall’s team of engineers under Gaurav’s leadership has developed a SmartCorrect – IoTQ machining ‘Ecosystem’ which allows remote access to inspection and efficiency data and allows the customer to optimize the manufacturing process. Gaurav & Prashant have teamed up with Ani Agnihotri to bring this unparalleled technology to the United States.

Gaurav has conducted Seminars in various industrial cities of India and is frequently invited by large corporations to deliver in-house talks to CEO/VP/Plant heads on how the I.O.M.T and Marshall’s technologies can transform machine shops and make manufacturing more profitable & competitive.
